Gillian Rule is an Irish artist who takes the inspiration for her work from her coastal surroundings and local rural landscapes.  Gillian uses a semi abstract style infused with lots of colour and a large spoonful of whimsy.  Often spotted within Gillian’s work are subjects that are close to her heart including her  love of animals, angels, wildflowers and the sea.   Gillian has exhibited in the City of Derry and her work has been on display in various locations throughout Ireland.  Her paintings have made their way to various corners of the world including the US, Australia and Europe for private collections.
